How can I get Game Creator to see and use my Mapping below in an Action?

To use the above in an Action like below?

I know this has something to do with AXIS, Since I do not know how to code I can not use my triggers...

I tried this, but it does not work on Trigger Up....

Basically in my game I want to have my DPAD & Trigger buttons available in Game Creator to Apply Triggers to...

I know you may say...

There are many gamepads out there and its hard to accommodate all of them....or,

Just use the Unity Input Manager ....

1) PS4 and XBOX are pretty standard.... Trigger Button, DPAD etc.......

2) Unity Input Manager is not 100% recognized by Game Creator (ie.. Left/Right Trigger & DPAD)

Thanks...

Unity version:
2019.4.1f1

The list of input types comes from Unity and is fixed. There's no way for us to change it (it's called an enum). The new Input System from Unity kind of resolves the issue, but we haven't made Game Creator compatible with it.

However, you can still work around this. The Trigger component has a feature that is unknown to most. See where it says "Any Platform"? There's a "+" button next to it. You can choose different Trigger types depending on the platform. This allows to detect a specific button when you're building your game for PS4 as well as another one for XBox.

Apart from this, you'll need to search for the input mapping for each platform you want to support. It's a hassle, but unfortunately it's the only way at the moment.
