Rotate Player and Camera on Teleport

When using the Teleport action, the players position changes correctly, but with Rotate checked, they rotate, but quickly snap to player controllers previous orientation. I'd like to have the player teleport to a new location and inherit the orientation of the transform that they teleported to and continue moving in that direction. Any suggestions?

I should note, I'm using the Adventure camera and would like it to reset behind the player when they arrive at the the portal. It currently maintains its previous rotation, slowly drifts into position behind the portal. I'd like for it to maintain its current position/rotation relative to the player after teleporting, so the transition feels more seamless


I don't think there's a direct way to do this. It would require to bypass the damping and reset the camera. You could try using the Change Camera action on the same adventure camera, but it's more like a hack than a solution (if it works)
