Changing max inventory weight

Tathunder 1 month ago in Inventory updated 4 weeks ago 5

How can I change the inventory modules max weight through an action?

I want my player to be able to upgrade their weight capacity.

Many thanks,

Use a variable number. You can also use the formula to get the number you want, then write it to a variable.

BAD, I'M UNSATISFIED

I am still confused on how to do this.

Although I do own the module that has formulas, I would prefer if there was an action included with the inventory module to achieve this.

I could not get this to work. How do I change the max weight with a formula? Or do you mean to not use the inventory modules max weight, and just make a new variable?

You need to create a global number variable. We call it modifierweight with the number 10. Suppose the weight depends on the strength of the character. Each power point, for example, gives 10 kg. Create a strenght stat. With the formula is this[value]. Also create a stat weight. The formula for this stat is stat[streght] * global [modifierweight]. Further create a number variable weight and substitute it into the weight of the inventory. In the game, create a trigger with the action sync stat to variable. Where is the weight stat and the weight variable.

Hi Stanislav,

thank you for trying to help me. I really appreciate you being patient with me.

I will try to follow your steps to get it working.

Many thanks,
