Walk looks like sliding

I have a Scene with one Player in a plane, and moving around with WASD keys. It feels more like gliding instead of walking. Could it be the default animation that comes with GC?

You can try lowering the acceleration to avoid this. However, bear in mind that we don't use root motion, which is what is used to perfectly match steps with character movement. Instead, the animation depends on the movement of the character, which can change its speed at any time.

thanks Marti for answering. I tried various values for but there is always sliding. Any other way you can think of where this can be corrected?
