Asset Store Description Tweaks

A few suggested tweaks to GC's copy in Asset Store so there will be less confusion about the learning curve and less "not as advertised" complaints. This is your product which you understanding completely, where new users will take time to build their understanding.


This is not to change the vision and goal of GC, only what is currently available when the buyer download the current version. 

CURRENT: Game Creator is a complete tools suite that will help you kickstart your game in a matter of minutes. It empowers artists, designers and programmers with the necessary tools to create games without having to write a single line of code.

RECOMMENDED: Game Creator is an amazing tools suite that will help you kickstart your game. It empowers artists, designers and programmers with tools to create games quickly.

CURRENT: • Visual Scripting: Powerful high-level instructions that are so easy to use that feels like cheating — Actions are instructions executed from top to bottom. Triggers allow you to react to events by executing its corresponding Actions. You can also use Conditions to execute Actions depending on certain conditions.

Summary: GC is "easier than most other approaches", but not "easy for all users". There is a learning curve overall, one for each module and one for each combination of modules. The term "configuration" has multiple meanings. Using the action/trigger/conditional tools could be considered "configuration" by setting values in the fields, so the phrase "no configuration" should be avoided. Should be OK to use generic "fast" and "quick:, but not specifically on "minutes", since a misunderstanding of any complex system can greatly increase time of effort.

Hope this helpful to build reasonable expectations for the new users of GC.

Don't like the constant CURRENT and RECOMMENDED. It looks too much. I feel as if I cannot see the forest because of all the trees.

Sorry I was unclear. CURRENT means "this is the current text in the Asset Story" and "RECOMMENDED" is my suggested revision. Only to give reference to the before and after for quick reference.

Ah Ok, that makes sense now.
