How does lip synchronization work? I use Lip Sync pro in principle but I don't see how to integrate it. Is there a system integrated into game creator?
There's currently no integration with Lip Sync with Game Creator. I don't have experience with that package, but I'm sure there's documentation on how to start using the blend shapes from the LipSync package so it appears as if the character is talking.
You may be able to use the Call Methods action to bridge between Game Creator and LipSync and start or stop a speech.
Maybe someone with more experience using both Game Creator and LipSync can provide some tips.
Well, it's really a lack. But, can we use Dialogue System for Unity in parallel and therefore not use the dialog module of Game Creator?
I prefer to ask before buying this asset.
The Dialogue System can coexist with Game Creator for sure, since our code is allocated inside its own namespace (avoiding any conflicts), but I'm not aware of any Actions that allow GC and Dialogue System to talk to each other.
Our Dialogue package has been specifically designed to work with Game Creator, and its integration is seamless. I don't think creating a (or some) custom Action to integrate LipSync with GC would be a big workload. At the moment we don't have the time to do so, but we're opening a ticket. In the meantime, you might want to talk to someone on our Discord channel, see if someone is available to do this (if you can't code).
