Character step length

Hi. Tell me, please, how to change the distance that the character steps after one click on the key (W). Now, after one click on W, the character takes two or one full step – and I need, for example, half a step. That would be possible to bring the character to the edge more carefully.

The concept of "steps" is not really translatable in Game Creator. Characters move at a certain speed and the animation of characters pick the best locomotion animation that works with the current direction and velocity of the character.

However, the player also has an "acceleration" and "deceleration" that will cause it to decrease and increase its initial and last speed.

I would suggest increasing the deceleration property (found in the Input section of the Player character).

GOOD, I'M SATISFIED

Thanks! Exactly what is needed

Guys, is this a very dumb question? Is it too easy to explain and waste your time? Or is it too complicated to explain? Hint, though, where to look for the answer ...
