Permanent crosshair

Niels Henriksen 6 months ago in Game Creator updated by Marti (Lead Developer) 6 months ago 7

I have CG, Inventory and Shooter and I have seen that in Shooter there is a crosshair. But I want to have a permanet crosshair where I can select objects ingame (like Minecraft and ARK).

What is best process in doing this?

Unity version:
2018.4.14f

The Accessibility Module provides a permanent crosshair, but doesn't provide the ability to select objects. That would require some coding.

No problem with coding (I have been doing that for 22 years) - maybe it can be made as a module :)

Selecting Objects and moving them in world space is an Action that will be available with the extras that come with our book - Create Learning Games without Learning Code (out this year).

Also, picking up objects will be part of the VR module, currently under construction.

And dragging objects into the Inventory panel, is part of a UI Components update.

But there is no restrictions on who can create modules, so feel free ;)

Welll I just need to find out where Accessibility Module is :D

Crosshair is part of the motion sickness prevention.

But if you just need a crosshair, I am sure you can create one in two minutes with a transparent canvas and a graphic.

Cool thanks :) I can see I need that module later :D
