Would it be possible to add footprints to the onfoot trigger? footsteps that that react to different types of terrain, with the option to fade after a while, or stay in the scene?

would this be difficult to add to GM?

You could instantiate from pool a decal/prefab on the onstep trigger, works for me.

Correct. Aeon is right. I would just add that you'll need the "On Step" Trigger. This will execute a Trigger every time a chosen Character takes a step. You can use the "Instantiate from Pool" action to place your foot prints.
