Returns of called methods (Call method and get returned value?)

Not sure if this is possible, but can GameCreator somehow get / read the return of a called method?
And ideally somehow store that in a variable?

If not, how is it possible to access a variable created with GameCreator from within my method via script?
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Following up on this, I was able to get a workaround done by creating an event that gets called from the method, that then in turn Executes and Invoke Trigger from Gamecreator, but still would be curious if any options like I mentioned exist.
