Wait Random Action

In this tutorial shows how to implement a light blink example by implement an action called Wait Random, but i cant find it in actions list. Should be placed in general section. Where can i find it?

How can I equip my companion AI with weapons? My companion AI will follow me to play Boss, but I want to equip my companion AI with weapons, is there any good way? I haven't solved it for a long time.

Not saving player position

Hi, so I have got saving and loading working. I have turned saving on in preferences and all the player components have save checked.

Everything is working except that the player's position is not saving.

On load game the players position changes to the default player location.

How can I save the player's position also?

Is there a plan to make the character to be able to fly with GC as on this video: (min. 9:30)

I would really appreciate if there was such a feature.

That's doable, In the character script , change the Max fall Speed to 0, and tweak the other values as you like, setting the Max fall speed to 0 will give you the flying mechanism straight away when u try to jump, you will have to tweak some values so as to get the result as shown in the video.

Restarting my game main menu

I have a main menu and a number of scenes. I am planning on working out loading and saving games later.

The problem that I have at the moment is restarting a new game from scratch.

I can start a new game from the main menu that loads my first scene after the main menu.

If I then return to the main menu (from my ingame menu)and click on start new game it loads the scene again but attributes/weight/currency/inventory all persist from the first play.

I have saving turned off in the preferences and I have tried loading scenes with and without async but it does not make a difference.

How can I effectively restart a new game from scratch? 

I have onstart triggers that reset my attributes/weight/currency effectively. I also have a dump inventory to container that does not work; I have the container selected to gameobject and a container to dump inventory in, but it keeps throwing me an error in the console and only removing one stack in the inventoy and leaving the rest to remain.

If I could learn a better way to restart my game from scratch it would be much better.

I just cant seem to find it in the documentation.

Sorry if I have missed something again.

Looping sound with 3D spreading ?

I understand that music audio types are looping by default, but they are in 2D.
And sound audio types are one-shot sounds, which we can put in 3D.

But is it possible to have a looping sound with 3D spreading ? Like the sound of a roaring machine in a specific place, or whatever.

Several types of containers do not work.

Hello, everyone,

i have tried to create a container that can only hold the type "All/Resources - Wood".

I have duplicated the original container template.

and changed the type in the new wood container to "All/Resources - Wood".


At first I had the problem that all objects with a container used this new "wooden container" and not the "standard container" although it is defined in the settings:


Then I edited the default container (only the text field changed)

After that, the "Standard Container" is now used again for all containers.

If I now create a new container for my stack of wood and try to use the new "wood container", it still doesn't work. Only the "Standard Container" is opened.

the standard container has the type : "Everything".

the wooden container has the type "All/Resources - Wood

The stored item in the container also has the type : "All/Resources - Wood".


Another madness:

when I remove the item from the "wooden container" (so it's empty)

and open it, then the wooden container is displayed .... but afterwards they open all standard objects only the "wooden container" again, although the standard was opened shortly before (inGame).
